IBL studies best practice at Retail Banking in Europe 2014 Conference

IBL has attended the 14th annual Marketforce Retail Banking in Europe Conference in Berlin on March 10th and 11th.

The two day conference had over 100 delegates and thought leaders, featuring a range of critical issues facing the industry and associated best practices.

One such stream examined ways of achieving enhanced customer insight through data analytics and featured insightful presentations from Google, ING Turkey, Nordea and CSP s.p.a.

IBL hosts a table at Financial Services Club dinner with Deanna Oppenheimer (London March 2014)

IBL hosted a table at the Financial Services Club dinner in the Painters Hall livery club in London. Keynote speaker was Deanna Oppenheimer who formerly was CEO at Barclays Bank in UK and Europe. Prior to that, as CEO of Washington Mutual, she led a regional thrift into one of the leading banks in the US and once voted Retailer of the Year for her work in innovating with branches at Washington Mutual. The event was attended by over 150 diners who listened attentively as Deanna outlined her vision for Omnichannel. Citing the example of Apple stores, Deanna urged bankers to "invest in technology which enhances customer interation, not replaces it."
