Strategy & Market Propositions

Typically this would be a c.10 man day effort including preparation time and involving two IBL personnel.

The focal point is a one day facilitated workshop involving key figures from the business. The purpose of the Strategic Positioning and Alignment Workshop is to develop an agreed international strategy, identify target countries and to define the main market proposition(s) on which the business will lead its international drive. Market propositions must be tenable, sustainable, attractive and differentiated.

Quality Introductions

Using our extensive lists of contacts and international experience, IBL will identify and provide introductions to potential:

  • Clients
  • Partners
  • Re-sellers
  • Distributors
  • Influencers

The Introductions Service will usually follow the Strategy and Market Propositions Service, where IBL will provide introductions pertinent to the Proposition(s) that have been identified, articulated and agreed.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs) will be agreed with the client. The ethos however is biased towards quality rather than quantity. As part of this service, IBL will tune a Corporate slide deck to suit local conditions in the client's selected theatres.

Sales Fronting

The first sale into a new country or new market is invariably the most challenging.

With no local reference account to draw upon, the sales resource must be exceptionally skilled. They will also need access to an effective network of contacts and the support of a local organistion or key influencer.

IBL people have experience of winning"1st-sale-in-country" contracts in more than a dozen countries around the world, always within the banking and insurance industries. In this service line, IBL will lead the sales process to secure the first contract, including contract negotiation. Thereafter the client can take responsibility for sales with the luxury of having a local reference, or if preferred, they may outsource the sales function to IBL.
